“ We discovered Sartoria by chance while visiting Buna, the excellent coffee shop next door. Drawn in by its stylish and inviting atmosphere, we were intrigued to find that Sartoria is a Michelin-recommended restaurant (not starred, but included in the Michelin Guide). We returned the following evening for dinner, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable meals we had in Mexico City. Every aspect from the presentation and plating to the flavor and creativity was exceptional. The attention to detail in both the food and overall dining experience truly stood out. The only downside was the extended wait for our check at the end of the meal. While we understand that longer waits are typical in CDMX dining culture, our experience bordered on excessive, taking nearly an hour and a half to settle our bill. It became difficult to get a server’s attention, which was frustrating and unfortunately put a slight damper on an otherwise outstanding evening. That said, I highly recommend sitting outdoors if possible. The interior can get quite lively, and the outside seating offers a more relaxed vibe—plus the added charm of occasional performances from local street artists. Overall, Sartoria is a must-visit for anyone looking for an elevated culinary experience in CDMX. ”

The only weird part is the bathroom situation, and when you are done, you are basically washing your hands next to a table in front of the whole restaurant. I feel as though they could have extended a partition on that wall a little bit for more privacy. Overall a fantastic experience! ”
